Unless noted otherwise in the workshop or tour description, a minimum of a 50% deposit is due at the time of registration. Payments may be by check or PayPal. If you wish to use a credit card you can use PayPal to process your payment with your card. There is a unique PayPal button on each event webpage. Just navigate to the bottom of that webpage, click on the "BUY NOW" PayPal button and you'll be take to a page where you can choose "Payment by Debit or Credit Card". Full payment is due 60 days before the event and we'll send out a reminder for the balance.
PayPal is probably the most secure of payment options available on-line. Again, there's a unique PayPal button on EACH event page.
Unless noted otherwise on a Workshop/Tour description page, we refund 100% for payments made by check for cancellations more than 45 days prior to the first day of the event. If paid by PayPal, full refunds apply for cancelations more than 45 days AND within 180 days of payment(s). Cancellations outside this time frame will be assesed a 4% charge. No refunds for cancellations within 45 days prior to first day of event unless we fill the event; a 4% charge will be accessed for refunds..
While an unlikely or rare circumstance, American Nature Photography Workshops (ANPW) reserves the right to cancel an event 30 days or more prior to that event. Should cancellation occur, ANPW will refund all fees you've paid. ANPW assumes no liability whatsoever for other fees or penalties incurred by you from airlines or any other sources.
We plan for two instructors per event. However, circumstances may arise where the number of registrations, while adequate for holding an event, may be too low to warrant more than one instructor.
There are times when attendees wish to have a non-participating spouse accompany them in the field provided they used nothing more than a cell phone to photograph. We regret we can't permit this for three reasons: first, many of our events are held in National Parks where we're limited to the number of people in the group; second, with today's technology, it's hard to say someone taking pictures with a cell phone is not "participating"; and, finally, it just puts too many people in the field and increases our liability, We hope you understand. We will make exceptions only when a participant's physical health requires the presence of a non-photographing care-giver.
Under no circumstances will we allow participants to carry firearms during any workshop or tour.
Travel insurance is highly recommended especially for Winter in Yellowstone, Alaska and international tours.
