Capitol Reef workshop
October 10 - 14, 2018 Register now »
Filled with cliffs, canyons, towers, domes, arches and pristine meadows, Capitol Reef National Park is located in southern Utah in a geologic monocline - a 65 million year old, 100-mile long warp in the earth’s crust - called the Waterpocket Fold, This rocky, wrinkly spine is the largest exposed formation of its kind in North America.
In addition to spectacular, brilliant colored formations we’ll be there in the fall as aspen turn to intense yellow (and some red). We’ll stay in Torrey – just 8 miles from the park – in the four star rated Broken Spur Inn with an affordable group rate. The Inn also has a terrific Steakhouse with a great menu. Check them out on-line.
Cliff Zenor will be joining Tom and George as guest instructor (a five to one participant-instructor ratio). We’ve each known Cliff for over twenty years and we’re sure you’ll enjoy his persona and teaching style. As usual, we’ll have daily class sessions including critiques of your images and, of course, night star photography and perhaps some light painting.
Come join us.
