Smoky Mountains National Park Workshop
November 3 - 7, 2021 Register now »
Fall in the Smokys is pretty special. The Park has such a diversity of trees - more than 100 and most of those deciduous - that the display of colors is dazzling. The three varieties of maple alone will show bright orange, deep reds and bright yellow.
From deep reds to bright golds and yellows, the trees and their reflections in a variety of ponds and streams will keep you busy photographing practically the entire day.
We'll shoot sunrise and late morning, take a break for lunch and a two-hour session in class for critiques of your images, then back out 'till sunset. I'll use a little time in the field for demonstrations of various topics - focus stacking and time lapse for example - and since our only lectures will be the first evening, I'll be roaming around to answer any questions you might have.
Come join us and experience (maybe again) the splendor of Fall in the Smokys.
