YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK WORKSHOP
May 6 - 10, 2020 Register now »
Yosemite National Park, established in 1890, is our third oldest national park and has the greatest concentration of granite domes in the world and the largest exposed monolith as well.
Over the years Yosemite Valley’s huge waterfalls, soaring domes and sheer cliffs have provided countless subjects for photographers and painters. At this time of year, we may have snow in higher altitudes and the falls, which photograph best in April and May, will be absolutely spectacular.
Yosemite has 27 varieties of trees and, while not a wildlife shooting venue, several species of wildlife including black bear, mule deer, coyote and peregrine falcon can be spotted from time to time. Our last workshop was a complete sell-out and the views everywhere were awesome. Our lodging, which has a dining room and lounge, is literally just outside the park and features such as El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite and Bridal Veil Falls are quite close.
Terry Eggers joins us on this workshop.
